What is NGF

NGF stands for Nave Gladiator Federation. It was created to introduce a circuit style competition for the entertainment of Mortal Online players.
Who Can Fight?

Fighters will pay a fee to attempt to qualify to be an undercard. Once placed in the pool, they will fight other undercards until a ranked spot opens. The person with the best record will be placed in the Rank 20 spot.
How Do I Become the Champion?

Once you are ranked, you will fight your way up through the ranks until you are allowed to challenge the current Champion.
Will There Be Team vs. Team Ranked Fights?

We plan to start out with just 1v1 melee only fighters and may expand to other leagues depending on the success. We will have some volunteer Team vs. Team fights for entertainment.
Who Makes Gold from the Fights?

Only the ranked Gladiators. Sponsors will be introduced at a later time and may make a profit indirectly, but all gold collected will be used to pay a purse for the fighters. Some sponsors may be used to provide gear for solo (non-guilded) gladiators.
How Do We Know This is Fair and Honest?

The Chairmen are from different guilds and alliances and will be held to a strict, non-biased requirement. Anyone failing to meet the requirements will be replaced. Also, each participating guild will be allowed to send a representative to view all aspects of the NGF. Our goal is complete transparency.
Can I Be a Chairman?

If there is a spot open, we will hold a vote for those interested. When an opening is announced, contact a chairman if you are interested.
What if I am Not in a Guild, Can I Be in the Membership?

Yes, there will be 3 spots in the membership for solo player representatives that are interested in providing other solo players with any information they wish to see. When an opening is announced, contact a chairman if you are interested.
Can I Help in Any Way?

The NGF welcomes any assistance! Anyone that has something to offer should contact one of the chairmen. Donations are also welcome.
If I don't want to fight, can I spectate?

Yes, there will be a small fee to spectate (which will go toward the prizes). We will also stream live video and upload video to YouTube. A link of each fight will be posted.

How Much is in the Fighters Purse?

It will depend on rank and the NGF bank. The more the NGF pulls in, the more each fighter will get. Even a fighter that loses will receive a small token reward.
Will There be Odds on Betting?

Yes, odds will be based on ranks.
Does it Cost Me to Place a Bet?

Yes, a small percentage will be taken that will go to paying the purse for the fighters.
What Happens When a Rank 20 Fighter Loses their Rank?

That fighter is removed and an undercard will take his place at Rank 20. The fighter that was removed can reapply to go back int o qualifying with a clean record.
Am I Allowed to Bring My Own Gear? If So, are There Restrictions?

Yes, you're allowed to bring your own gear. Weapons are limited to non-extractable materials (i.e. wood and animal materials). Weapons must retain their default name when crafted.
I Have No Money, Nor Access to a Crafter. Is There a Way I Can Receive Gear?

No, right now we just want to start out with the basics. In the future, we plan on allowing sponsors to pick a fighter they want to equip.
